As if putting up Christmas decorations wasn't enough, we decided to move Ryan from his crib to a toddler bed this weekend. He's a little older than Megan was when she moved into the toddler bed, and a little younger than Declan was. So...we took the crib down once again and put it back up in the attic. I was expecting Ryan to take full advantage of being able to get in and out of bed on a whim, but he surprised us and didn't do any midnight exploring. He even stayed put during his nap the next day. Stay tuned because I don't expect this to last. Here's a pic of the "new" bed with and without it's new owner.
We have had a peaceful and relaxing Thanksgiving day with so much to be thankful for! We started off by watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. The kids were very excited to see Santa at the end. It was a beautiful day here - sunny and in the mid 60s, so the kids got to play outside for a while. Rob made his traditional turkey for our Thanksgiving meal. I hope everyone reading this had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Here are a few pictures from the day.
