Rock Band

Thanks to an innocent introduction by a friend at work, we here in the Wampner family have found the XBox game called Rockband. There is a drum set, guitar (lead or bass), and a microphone for vocals. Rob and I have "formed a band" and gone "on tour" in the game. It's a lot of fun - especially for those of us (me) who have no chance of ever doing the real thing. The kids love to "play" the instruments. Here are the youngsters trying out the drums and the guitar. Be warned, once you start playing this game, it's hard to stop!

Ryan is 11 Months Old!

11 months old! The bear looks a little bummed that he is getting left behind in the growth department. Ryan is "talking" a lot and likes to mimic the sounds we make. He's big on the oooooo and uh-oh sounds. He eats like a 10 year old, and he prefers regular food to any kind of baby food.

Now for a couple of stories about his siblings.
Declan: I told Declan the other day that he was such a big boy, and his response was "I'm humongous". He knows his synonyms.
Megan: She came home and told me that her friend Lily had taught her a song. When I asked her to sing it, she sang, "Mama and Declan sitting in a tree, k-i-s-m-i-k-c". I wonder when she'll actually get the gist of that one...

Mobile (not the south Alabama city)

That's definitely the word to describe Ryan right now. He's an explorer at heart, and he's proud of it! He loves to look out windows, and he has recently found our stairs. We now enter the time of baby gates and heart palpitations for Mom and Dad.
